Dear Pastor Melinda,

When we are free in our worship to God, He shows up in many ways.  With His healing power, with His joy, with His deliverance for His people, and on and on.  But how unique was our worship today?  The beautiful SMELL, the lovely fragrance of His Very Own Presence for our natural senses to enjoy!

At first I smelled it without thinking too much about it.  Then another person from the back spoke it out loud.  What a combination of sweetness and goodness it smelled like!  Then the girl behind me and I both said we smelled it.  The worship was so beautiful.  As Vince came up to teach we were still looking for where this smell came from.  I was surprised to see you walk up to the oil on the table up front only to see that it was not open.

I thank the Lord for what I believe was a "Wonder" He bestowed upon us today in worship.  Let the earth rejoice because of His Love and His great desire to be with us in unique and personal ways.

Love and thanks,

Jo Kirk

During Sunday Worship.....

While worshipping Jesus, suddenly I smelled a fragrance floating by me.  It seemed to float by me from behind, crossing over to the right side.  The scent lasted a few seconds.  It was like a cool light smell, and I thought it was someone's cologne.  I continued worshipping, and didn't say anything.

When the worship service ended, a woman sitting in front of me said she smelled oil.  I said that I also smelled it, and at the same time a man in the back row said he also smelled oil!  No one was wearing any cologne or perfume.

The Lord said to me, FRESH OIL…

During worship I was walking around the back of the room. I smelled oil and it had such a strong scent. I looked around and said does anybody else smell this? I could smell it from the front to the back. The Lord said to me, FRESH OIL. He said He was pouring it out, and the fragrance was really strong. One of the ladies said that she smelled the oil too. Pastor Melinda has oil on the front table, but the bottles were not open. The fragrance smelled like myrrh mixed with different spices. There was such a sweetness and fragrance of God’s love and His Spirit among us.

SONG OF SOLOMON    Chapter 1:1-5

1 The song of songs, which is Solomon's. 2 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine. 3 Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee. 4 Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

Chapter 2:1-4
1 I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. 2 As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters. 3 As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste. 4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.

Chapter 5:10-16
10 My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. 11 His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven. 12 His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set. 13 His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh. 14 His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires. 15 His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. 16 His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

Chapter 6:1-3
1 Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? whither is thy beloved turned aside? that we may seek him with thee. 2 My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies. 3 I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the lilies.
